RE:  EMERGENCY PLAN UPDATE
Recommendation:  That Council approve engaging Smart Risk Control to update the Emergency Plan at a cost of $5,800 plus GST.

Emergency Planning Committee - August 3, 2017

RE:  EMERGENCY COORDINATION POSTION/PROGRAM MODEL
Recommendation: That Council approve in principle the integration of the Emergency Program with the Fire Department and that staff be directed to bring forward an amendment to Emergency Measures Bylaw No. 56 to effect the proposed model.

RE:  AMENDMENT TO BYLAW NO. 200 - REVOCATION OF DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY (3900-200)
Recommendation:  That Council direct staff to prepare an amendment to Bylaw No. 200 to revoke the Development Permit Approval Delegation granted to the Chief Administrative Officer or the Planner for development permits issued in Area 2 (Water and Riparian Areas).

RE:  SUSTAINABLE ASSET MANAGEMENT PLANNING - CONTRACT AWARD
Recommendation:  That staff be authorized to award a contract to Brentwood Advisory Group in the amount of $12,402 (including GST) to develop a Sustainable Asset Management Policy and Plan for the District of Highlands.
