2007 Official Community Plan

The 2007 Highlands' Official Community Plan was amended in November 2013 whereby the whole of Schedule A was replaced.  This amendment to Schedule A included: 

• A new Development Permit Area for the entire District to promote energy and water conservation
• An expanded chapter on Energy, Greenhouse Gases and Climate Change
• Establishing a Development Approval Infomation Area fore the entire District
• Restyled maps
• A Local Food section
• An updated Heritage section
