RE: SOUTH HIGHLANDS LOCAL AREA PLAN TASK FORCE TERMS OF REFERENCE
Recommendation: 

  1. That Council rescind the motion (144-2021) from the June 7, 2021 Council Meeting that referred the Memorandum from Councillor McLean dated June 6, 2021 to staff for review and to report back to Council on possible amendments to enhance the South Highlands Local Area Plan Task Force Terms of Reference. 
  2. That Council direct staff to hold all correspondence submitted with respect to the South Highlands Local Area Plan for inclusion in the material to be considered once the draft Plan is presented to Council.

RE: RYDER HESJEDAL'S TOUR DE VICTORIA - SATURDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2021
Recommendation: That Council approve the 2021 Tour de Victoria event on District of Highlands roads subject to the Event Organizer entering into a Public Property Occupancy Agreement, substantially as shown attached to the report from the Corporate Officer dated June 11, 2021; and further that the Corporate Officer be authorized to execute such an agreement on behalf of the District of Highlands.
