Development Application Status

Land use applications are essential for ensuring that proposed projects comply with zoning regulations, preserve community character, and mitigate potential environmental impacts. These applications typically require detailed documentation and adherence to specific criteria set by the District.

The Development Application Status Sheet tracks the following applications:

  • Development Permits
  • Development Variance Permits
  • Rezoning 
  • Covenant Amendments
  • Temporary Use 
  • Subdivision 
What does "status" mean?
 
  • Received: The application has been received by staff 
  • In-Progress: The file is active and staff are working with the applicant
  • On-Hold: The applicant is providing additional information to the District.
  • Council: Once review of the application is complete staff is refer the application to Council where they will either: 
    • approve the application 
    • approve the application subject to specified conditions
    • request for further information
    • deny the application
  • Approved: Council has approved the application.
